By the time I reached the church and phased back to my human form, I was crying pretty heavily. Erin looked up at me through curtains of dirty hair from her spot by the back wall, behind where the choir would have stood. When I pushed through the little door, up into the tree-house that was Post, I was met with a sight that should probably have been a picture in some girl's magazine. The small room was packed with teenage boys wearing nothing but underwear, sitting on anything with a surface. Nite was on the little table, Zach and Jared were in the chairs, and Chase and Anthony were on the floor. I stood.
“Glad you could join us.” Jared said flatly. He pushed his black bangs out of his eyes.

I decided to leave my car at home, just so I could spend some time in wolf form before I had to handle Jared. Being in wolf form had always been my way of calming down. To be so vicious and dangerous, it was amazing how peaceful it made me feel. There was just something tranquil about the simpler thoughts. So, I left my car, and with my underwear tied to my wrist, I took to the woods behind my house. It was only three miles to Post, and in wolf form, would only be a ten minute run, at the most.
About a mile and a half away form Post, though, I began to sense something.
