Can you give a brief synopsis of what your creations are about?
1. Um, well, chosen was a story I co-wrote with a friend freshman year of high school. It was really generic and had like no plot... It was about two teenage outcasts that were called to another deminsion to save that world from dinosaur like demons... then one of them became a wisard and one of them became a dragon rider... and they ended up falling in love... O.o? It was really just for fun...
2.Well, Just south of normal was another I wrote just for fun... It was kinda a joke between my group of friends, though I was the only one really writing it... All the characters were based off of us... only we were all werewolves... and I made tomas's character (Nathanial) gay, when he actually isn't... lol... i was young and immature...
3. Well, Twilight: a future is a fanfic about *dumdadadum* Stephenie Meyer's 'Twilight'. It was actually strikingly close to what the real sequel, Breaking Dawn, actually was, or so I've been told...
4. *sigh* I'm not going to go into much detail about Midnight Pheonix: Alaska's Path, because I'm currently in the process of getting it published... but it's about a young female vampire slayer learning about love, hate, betrayal, and tolerance.
5. Well, obviously, it's the sequel to the other one... Slayer's Revenge continues to follow the stories of the characters in Alaska's Path as they enter into more conflict, plus more characters are introduced... yea... basic sequel...
What is your favorite thing about your creations?
1. Well, I actually love Chosen. Its pathetic as far as stories go, but it has so many happy memories for me... It was so much fun to write... I think my favorite thing would have to be the memories...
2. Just South of Normal also holds a special place in my heart, though I'm not as fond of it as I was Chosen... again, the best thing is the memories...
3. Well, I love the way I was able to portray bella's pregnancy in Twilight: a future. I don't have much experience in the matter, but I was able to get pretty close, or so I've been told...
4. Well, I just love the whole story. Expecially the leading male vampire's history. I cried while writing it... and I still get a tight throat when I read it over... I just love it... and at the climax, when Everything is reveal... well, by then the reader had already realized what's really going on... but I love the leading characters emotions... and how I was able to incorperate the Christian views that have come to mean so much to me... how inspirational the whole story is... It helped ME to find my faith, so I'm hoping it will help other teens someday as well... Haha, like I said, I just love the whole thing ^_^
5. I'm only like six chapters into it so far... but I love the drama? Haha, im not far into it at all... so, I really dont have a favorite part yet...
What inspired your story/stories?
1. Chosen was inpired by A BUNCH of different stories... Dragon Riders series (I cant remember the woman who wrote them's name right now but they used to be my fav series), Eragon by christopher paolini, Lord of the rings by Tolkien, the TV series Charmed... My and my friend/ co-writers' Wiccan views of the time... the fact that we had this 'romance' between us but we neither one was willing to admit it, so we wrote it together... and blushed like crazy when someone asked about it... hahaha (actually, we neither one ever really admitted it to each other... I fell in love with Ellis and he found a gf... and we sorta drifted apart... he wasn't really my 'type' tho...
2. Just south of normal was inspired by Blood and Chocholate, the movie and book, the 'New Moon' werewolves... and my friends...
3. Twilight: A future was of course inspired S Meyer's Twilight...
4. & 5. Well, The Midnight Pheonix Series was inspired by alot... My Christian views; my views on acceptance, non-sterio-typing, and ant-discrimination; My love of vampires and vampire slayers; the books by Anne Rice and S Meyers; a tiny bit of inspiration came from my belief that pre-marital sex is a curse to any relationship... and A tiny bit of inspiration also came from some of Shakespear's sonnets? WHen I have writer's block, i like to read them... and some of Poe's and Dickinson's... just the short ones, to jumpstart my immagination...
Do any songs remind you of your story/stories?
1. um.. well, I listened to alot of Natasha Bedingfield when I was writing Chosen... but i dont think that has anything to do with the story, just a little girl obsessed over pop music...
2. I listened alot of Thousand Foot Krutch when I was writing Just South of Normal. Their songs fit the fight scenes, the romance scenes, all of it...
3. I listened to alot of 'emo' songs when writing Twilight: A Future... because I was going through a phase... and they went well with the story...
4. & 5. Actually, I have a playlist for my Midnight Pheonix series... it's: Nobody's Home by Avril Levigne; Vermilion Pt. 2 by Slipknot; My Own Prison by Creed; Face Down by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus; Memories, Howling, and What Have you done by Within Temptation; Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle; Never Again by Nickelback; I'm not Jesus by Apocalypica Feat. Corey Taylor; and Pocket Full of Sunshine by Natasha Beddingfield. Each charactor has a 'theme song' that I listen to when writing from their perspective...
Do you see any motifs in your work?
1. Well... it was really the ramblings of a fourteen year old girl... there wasn't anything recurring in it at all...There wasn't really a theme... so no, no motif
2. Romance was the theme, I didn't use any motifs though...
3. again no, i just wrote it for fun, i didn't do any real literary thinking...

Do you have a favorite character in your work?
1. Rolland. My character sucked
2. Lena
3. Bella...
4.& 5. Gah! Well, the main character... and this little vampire girl... she's like Claudia from Interview with the Vampire, by Anne Rice, mixed with Alice and Nessy from S Meyer's Twilight series...
Say your work was adapted into a movie or tv series- What would the opening theme song be?
1. um... something instrumental, pretty and light and hopeful and dramatic... like the music from harry potter or lord of the rings... or The Narnia movies...
2. Some kind of heavy metal 'fight' song...
3. Its a fan fic... so whatever music they put to Breaking Dawn...
4.& 5. The music from the playlist? or somthing instrumental and dramatic... but hopeful...
